<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
The article presents an overview of the conciliation commission as a tool of pre-trial settlement of individual labor disputes in Kazakhstan and the basics of its legal regulation. The authors have analysed the latest innovations introduced in the labor legislation regarding the activities of the commission.

The relevance of the study is that despite the dramatic changes in the practice of consideration of individual labor disputes since the beginning of 2016, the vast majority of them are still resolved through the court.
